Everything you need to know about registering, submitting a request, our fees, vetting and how matching works.
Register your family in the portal. It takes a few minutes and saves your details, your minis and your preferences in one place. From there you submit a request whenever you need a nanny or a babysitter, no need to reenter anything.
Every request is read by a real person, not a bot. We check it is a good fit for our network, then send you a payment link for the one off advertising fee. Once that is paid your role goes live to our nannies and applications start coming through your portal.
Babysitting roles are a flat $45 advertising fee. Nanny roles are a flat $99 advertising fee, regardless of how many days a week you need. That is the only cost to get your role in front of our network.
The finder's fee is only paid once you choose your nanny and lock the match in. For babysitting it is $30 for a one off, $50 for last minute, $70 for multiple dates and $150 for a creche or event. For ongoing nanny roles it is $150 for 1 to 2 days, $200 for 3 days, $250 for 4 days and $300 for 5 days a week.
The advertising fee covers reviewing your request, writing your role description and pushing it out across our network. The finder's fee covers sorting through applicants, gathering their documents and presenting you with a shortlist. After that the nanny is yours. We never take a percentage of what you pay them.
Our fees stay low because we don't do the parts that sound helpful but mostly just push up the price. We don't personally interview or meet every nanny before we list them. That would mean hours on our end and, ultimately, a much higher fee passed on to you. Instead, we collect and verify the mandatory documents (WWCC, police check, First Aid HLTAID012, references and experience) and put the full picture in your portal. You know your home and your minis best, so the final meet, reference calls and interview are yours to do. We can't possibly meet every nanny in our network and know with 100% certainty who is right for your family, but we can make sure you have everything you need to make an informed choice. That keeps the cost down and keeps you in control.
No, the advertising fee is non refundable once paid. If your role is not something we can advertise, we simply won't send you a payment link.
We gather and verify the mandatory credentials for every nanny we shortlist: Working With Children Check, police check, First Aid HLTAID012, at least two Australian references and a minimum of two years experience. We pass that pack to you. The final reference calls and the interview are yours to do, because you know your family best.
Everything lives in your portal. You will see your live roles, the shortlist we have put together for you and each nanny's profile and vetting pack in one place, so you are never chasing an email thread.
You get a full picture: experience, qualifications, availability, their hourly rate and their verified checks. Contact details are shared once you have chosen your nanny and the finder's fee is settled.
It is first in, best dressed. We send you nannies as they apply and you take your time deciding, but keep in mind strong nannies get snapped up quickly. You are never obligated to take the first person we send.
We never share your personal details with nannies. Only your first name and phone number are shared once a match is made. From there you decide how much more to share, including your address.
Directly. We tell you their rate up front and you pay them at the end of each shift or on your own arrangement. We take nothing out of it.
Let us know through the portal and we will pull the role offline. Fees already paid are non refundable. If a match has already been made, please give your nanny as much notice as possible or pay them for their time if it is last minute.
Five day a week nanny roles are in high demand and, depending on your location and timing, a match is not always possible. If we come up short, tell us within a week and we will relist your role at no extra cost.
No. We are The Nannying Network, not the Cleaning Network. We don't advertise for maids, cleaners or household help, and we don't advertise for live in nannies or au pairs.
