Making LEMONADE with Lemonade
When the minis rocked up to our launch shoot with no shoes, another Australian small business swooped in to save the day. A love letter to Sandy, Sigi and the crew at Lemonade for the freshest kicks in town.

The story
A super woman, a phone call, and a whole lot of fresh kicks.
Picture the scene. Launch shoot day. Minis buzzing. Nannies ready. Golden hour creeping in. And then, the panic. Not a single pair of shoes between them that would actually work on camera.
One phone call to Sandy at Lemonade and it was sorted. Boxes on the doorstep. Bold, playful, made to move. The minis pulled them on and you should have seen the smiles. Confidence, mischief, freedom, all laced up.
And the best part? They got to take them home.
This is what community looks like. Small businesses lifting small businesses. Women backing women. A quiet yes when it mattered most.
Meet the makers
Who is Lemonade?
Lemonade is an Australian kids' footwear and accessories brand all about movement, creativity and endless energy. Shoes and accessories with a little twist. Bold graphics. Playful details. Street and skate inspired touches that make every pair feel special. Easy to put on. Tough enough for everyday play. Designed to let minis be themselves. Confident. Curious. A little mischievous.
For Lemonade it's not just about shoes. It's about giving minis the freedom to move, play and explore, while parents feel good knowing they're high quality, comfortable and thoughtful.
Since 2021
Two founders. One playful vision.
Lemonade started in 2021. Sigi and Sandy wanted to make kids' shoes they actually liked. Shoes that are playful, functional and a bit different from everything else out there.
Sandy focuses on the creative side. Imagining the graphics, colours and little details that make the shoes fun. Sigi makes sure they actually work. Fit. Comfort. Durability.
From the very start it's been about creating shoes that minis want to wear and parents can trust, with personality and a sense of fun built right in.

What sets Lemonade apart
Designed for real minis living real adventures.
Personality first
Sandy's creative direction gives every pair a playful twist. Bold graphics. A little bit of mischief. Never just for looks.
Built to run wild
Sigi holds the standard for comfort, fit and durability. Made to keep up with skateparks, sandpits and everything in between.
Kind to the planet
Recycled polyester sandals. Recycled cotton sneakers lined with organic cotton. Thoughtful design that reduces waste without cutting on style.

The Dragon and Angel Pack
Playful. Bold. Unapologetic.
This collection is all about playfulness and boldness. Qualities minis have naturally, and that Lemonade wanted to celebrate.
Sandy wanted designs that captured the emotions minis show effortlessly. Curiosity. Fun. A bit of confidence. Both capsules are a new direction for the brand, letting them push themselves creatively. Mixing graphics, textures and colours that feel fresh, playful and unapologetic.
Made thoughtfully
Sustainability that isn't just a buzzword.
For Lemonade, sustainability isn't just about materials. It's about making thoughtful, high quality shoes that minis actually love and parents feel good about.
Sandals use recycled polyester, are water resistant, and easy to wipe clean, with their signature double layered sole. Sneakers and first walkers use recycled cotton and are lined with organic cotton. Soft on little feet. Kinder to the planet.
Everything is built to last, from the materials to the construction, without compromising style, playfulness or function.

A launch to remember
High fives, fresh kicks and a village that shows up.
A note from us
Thank you, Sandy.
Thank you for saying yes. For dropping everything to support a little launch by another Australian small business. For giving our minis kicks that made them feel fearless. This is exactly the kind of village The Nannying Network was built for.
When life hands you a shoot with no shoes, you call Lemonade.
